Momad Metropolis organizers reflect


the organizers of the event are shown to be satisfied on the balance of the first edition of the international exhibition of textile, footwear and accessories. As they say, 17,000 professional buyers visited the fair.

According to the official data, in total, during his three days of celebration, the event was visited by 17.423 buyers. Of these, 11% were foreigners, coming from 70 countries. Portugal, Italy, France, Russia, Mexico and Poland have been the main countries of origin of these international buyers.

Nationally, Andalusia, Galicia, Castile and Leon, Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia, Castilla - La Mancha and the Basque country, have been the communities contributing more visits to the salon.

"we have achieved a satisfactory turnout and participation, and a positive response from exhibitors and visitors, but at the same time, have identified several areas for improvement, which will be studied in the next few weeks with representatives and associations of the sectors present. In particular, we will get to work immediately in a setting of sectoring and better signage to well manage the traffic of visitors through the different areas of the fair, as well as everything that is necessary to attract a greater number of exhibitors and trade visitors in future editions", says Francesco Malatesta, director of Momad Metropolis.

Organizers have also expressed pleased with the success of the Retail Momad forum which, as they said, "has been settled with remarkable success and public participation. Conferences, round tables and presentations that have shaped the programme of the Forum Momad Retail told with a high attendance, especially which addressed issues as the technology to the point of sale, trends, status and future of the point of sale and the importance of social networks in the field of fashion'.
